FUTURE Life Wealth Management is on the hunt for an ambitious new financial planning administrator who wants to advance their career to the next level.

The Renishaw-based firm offers bespoke financial planning to generators of wealth, typically business owners, executives and professionals, and also to receivers of wealth, such as inheritors, divorcees, widows and retirees. 

Future Life Wealth Management has achieved outstanding growth since it was founded by divisional director, Jillian Thomas, in 2009 and this recruitment push is intended to ensure that it can provide its award-winning services to even more clients in 2024 and beyond.

The main purpose of the role is to assist with the daily administration of an award-winning paraplanning and financial advisory team.

The new recruit will have an interest in financial planning and investment management and - ideally - some experience of working within the financial services industry. Complete confidentiality is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POST TITLE:                      Financial Planning Administrator
LOCATION:                        Renishaw, S21
RESPONSIBLE TO:             Keeley Woodcock, Divisional Director of Operations
SALARY RANGE:                Negotiable                                    

JOB PURPOSE:               The purpose of the role is to assist with the day-to-day administration supporting a busy award-winning Administration, Paraplanning and Advisory Team.

The job description and personal specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonable be required by their line manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General day-to-day administration tasks such as dealing with client enquiries, taking telephone calls, obtaining information from providers and electronic filing.
  • Maintaining client information accurately on the firm’s back-office database and Investment Keeping compliant paper records for all financial planning services.
  • General support to the Divisional Director of Operations, Advisers and Paraplanners in servicing clients, including preparation for meetings and individual advisory.
  • Producing appropriate, clear and accurate written correspondence to a high standard, both to providers and clients via email and by post.
  • Dealing effectively with the submission of new business, including accurate completion and submission of application forms, submission of business via platforms and online.
  • Assist and produce portfolio valuations and keeping relevant client data current and up to date. This requires analytical skills to carefully check figures and ensure that back-office data is correct to provide a client with a clear and accurate report.
  • The ability to demonstrate good technical knowledge to undertake the relevant area of work and seek solutions to technical issues. The ideal candidate would have a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to manage own time and work to deadlines, to take instruction from senior staff and execute tasks as required.
  • Communicating effectively with senior team members as well as administration staff and working well in a team as a whole is crucial. Liaising with colleagues from all department teams within the firm, to assist with the effective management of client affairs is required.
  • Commission & Adviser Fee reconciliations and presenting these to Divisional Director of Operations and the Accountancy Team.

We would like the candidate to have experience working within the financial services industry. We would require the candidate to have an interest in financial planning and investment management. Future Life Wealth Management do offer study support towards Financial Planning qualifications.
