Future Life Wealth Management's Managing Director, Jillian Thomas, has been shortlisted in the Business Woman of the Year category of East Midlands Chamber’s Enterprising Women Awards 2021. Here, Jillian explains why she is both delighted and honoured to be nominated...
At the start of the pandemic, I took the decision to work harder than ever before.
My rationale was simple - I realised from talking to clients that many were anxious about what was unfolding.
I wanted to reassure them that I was doing everything possible to ensure that their future financial life was truly in the best hands.
But it takes a team effort - and everyone at Future Life Wealth Management has worked with me to achieve simply exceptional results.
Mercifully, we now seem to be emerging from the Covid-19 crisis.
Future Life Wealth Management has thrived throughout the past year's adversity by consistently listening to our clients and working with them to achieve the best outcomes.
For these reasons, I was absolutely delighted to learn that I've been shortlisted in the Business Woman of the Year category of East Midlands Chamber’s Enterprising Women Awards 2021.
It has undoubtedly been a tough year - and being shortlisted feels like recognition for all the hard work my team and I have put into creating an exceptionally successful company.
I'm equally honoured to be in the running for this award alongside such an array of talented business women from across the East Midlands.
I look forward to meeting all the nominees at the awards ceremony in Nottingham on Friday, October 8 - it promises to be an inspirational evening.
Everyone who lives and works in this part of the world understands the entrepreneurial drive that defines this region.
I've seen it firmly in evidence across the East Midlands throughout the pandemic.
And - regardless of what the future holds - I personally remain determined to continue channelling that entrepreneurial drive by working even harder on behalf of Future Life Wealth Management's clients.
