FUTURE Life Wealth Management’s MD Jillian Thomas has provided the next generation of entrepreneurs in the East Midlands with invaluable public speaking tips.

Jillian led a ‘Helping you Thrive’ webinar organised by East Midlands Chamber’s Generation Next on the art of speaking at public events to promote yourself and your business.

Future Life Wealth Management offers a bespoke financial planning service to generators of wealth, typically business owners, executives and professionals, and also to receivers of wealth, such as inheritors, divorcees, widows and retirees.

Jillian – who recently won ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in the Derbyshire Business Awards 2022 – attributes a major part of her ongoing success to her ability to speak in public.

She explained: “It's essential for the future wellbeing of both 'East Midlands plc' and 'UK plc' that the next generation of entrepreneurs knows precisely how to speak in public to advance their own career and promote their business.

“Yet public speaking is something that so many people dread despite it bringing tangible business advantages.

"More often than not, it boils down to the fact that people simply lack confidence due to the pressure they put on themselves.
