FUTURE Life Wealth Management’s independent financial planner Emma Baumback has been recognised at the Enterprising Women Awards 2022.

Emma has been awarded the Co-Chairs’ Personal Recognition Award for Outstanding Contribution to Female Enterprise.

The Enterprising Women Awards were specifically established to celebrate the amazing work that is carried out by women in business across the East Midlands region every day.

In addition to being a key member of Future Life Wealth Management’s team, Emma also currently chairs the board of Generation Next, which is East Midlands Chamber’s network for young professionals and the next generation of leaders aged 18–35.

Generation Next supports and paves the way for young professionals across the region to succeed and grow.

Emma said: “It was an absolute honour to be given the Co-Chairs’ Personal Recognition – and a wonderful and unexpected honour, too!

“At Future Life Wealth Management, I derive immense personal and professional satisfaction from helping clients achieve their ambitions for their future financial security - and my work with Generation Next also means that I’m immensely positive for the continued success of our region.

In her role at Future Life Wealth Management, Emma works with individuals, businesses and charities while specialises in more complex trust work and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This Enterprising Women Awards 2022, which marked the 25th anniversary of Enterprising Women, took place at Leicester Tigers' Mattioli Woods Welford Road Ground, in Leicester.

Among the other East Midlands-based business women who were recognised at the awards was diet and fitness expert Rosemary Conley, who was handed a lifetime achievement.

Enterprising Women co-chair Jean Mountain said: “When I co-founded Enterprising Women 25 years ago, the business landscape was very male-dominated.

“We wanted to change that and create a space for women to network with each other, learn from one another’s experience and gain skills to use in their work, and sometimes personal lives.

“Recognising the achievements of women in business was an important part of that, to give them the confidence to succeed further and thrive in their careers.

“I’m so proud of how far the network has come, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future.”
