Do you know the next top entrepreneur?

Date Published: 31/03/2021 13:56

Our financial planner Emma Baumback has taken on an exciting new role and in her latest blog she encourages you to help her find the top young entrepreneurs in the East Midlands.

I am delighted to have been appointed as chair of the board for Generation Next, which is a network and community for young professionals and entrepreneurs in the East Midlands.

Generation Next is a network for young professionals, aged between 18 and 35, run by East Midlands Chamber. Through its programme of networking events and skills-focused workshops, it aims to connect members with like-minded people, develop their skills and open doors to new opportunities.

One of the first tasks I have as chair of the board is to promote the Generation Next Awards, which are a celebration of the amazing young talent across the East Midlands.

The 2021 awards applications are open until Monday 26 April and we want to encourage young professionals from across the region to tell their story and celebrate their successes through the programme.

Maybe you know someone who should be nominated? A member of staff or colleague who has gone that bit further to build a business or lead a team. Please do put their name forward or ask them to put themselves forward. Let’s be proud of the great entrepreneurs out there!

Categories are: Apprentice of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Award, Customer Service Award, Excellence in Innovation and Technology Award, Breakthrough Award and Headline – Generation Next Future Leader.

Young professionals and entrepreneurs wishing to put themselves forward for the Generation Next Awards must be aged between 18 and 35. Entries can be submitted on behalf of an individual by a colleague or line manager.
